Are they trying to get people to think that the original owners are back with a new name? Does anybody have any good scoop on this? It does make me sad! Are they trying to pick up business right where it left off with a lot of the same features and looks? No originality??? If at the very least let's hope the food is one half as good as it was when I was making it!

I've gone past the Happy House recently and noticed that they are naming the Happy House a new name with the identical round sign with a hotdog man on it and calling it the happy dog!

We miss our hotdogs and beefs so much, we never knew how much we could actually miss them. We thank you all once again for being our good friends and good customers!! We hope everyone is doing well! Thank you. Jan and Sandy

PEOPLE, PEOPLE, PEOPLE and all of our friends. We have NOT been sold!!! Who started that? Good Grief!! Yes, it is for sale, however, it could take 3 months or 3 years!! Lately, we've had a few customers/friends that would like to invest and keep Jan and the crew on for maybe 5 more years. We are still open in full swing, so come on out for your fave sandwich. Jan really doesn't want to retire, he doesn't think he'd like to golf 24/7!!!! But for now, we need all the business we can handle, the winter months are always tough to get through. Please come out and buy your faves and then buy your faves for your neighbors!!! We will be celebrating 40 YEARS on MARCH 19, 2014. WE WANT TO RUN A SPECIAL----we'd like to hear your thoughts on our anniversary special!! WHAT DO YA ALL THINK?????? DON'T FORGET.....WE ARE OPEN 11am-7pm MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY THROUGH THE ENTIRE YEAR!!

Don't Worry, we are still open .... 6 days a week .... 11a-7p We're testing the waters for retirement, it will be 40 years in March.....!!! What kind of special should we run???? for the 40 year celebration?

Neil used to work @ the Happy House while going to school, he graduated from DePaul this fall. He majored in film....he's on his way.........!!

Congratulations to our nephew, Neil, for being one of the new camera man in the helicopter for NBC news!! For those of you who don't know Neil, he likes original pictures lol

What does everyone think about putting a new item on the menu called 'hot dog chili cup'? A cup of chili with a Vienna beef hot dog sliced into the chili with your choice of onions and/or cheddar cheese on top. Should it be a go or no?????
